New files added to resource library

Some new files have been added to our Resource Library and to our Site Maps, Plans & Images folders.

These files should help to reveal more about Kapiti Coast District Council's desires for residential housing intensification.

Interestingly, as shown in the map of areas identified for housing intensification, the Horse Paddock at 240 Kapiti Road is not covered by either of the two intensification zones proposed at Coastlands Village or at the Paraparaumu Beach Village.

Kainga Ora's design guide is also linked. Kainga Ora was formerly Housing New Zealand Limited, the state housing provider. Its design guide suggests that if it was developing the Horse Paddock, then housing and its associated environments would be built to a standard higher than that proposed by the developer.
